A Study of Anal Trait of Korean People


Abstract
The author attempted to analyze and discuss the Korean anal trait to Infirmanal trait and compare the correlations between age groups and sex groups.
The two-phase sampling method was utilized in the collection of data from 900 Chung Chung area residents. One hundred and fifty men and women from each of the following age groups participated in this study under 19,20-39 and 40-64.
This survey was based on a translation into Korean of the anal trait scale of Gottheil and consisted of a forty item questionnaire regarding the anal trait.
The score of each questionnaire was classified according to age group and sex group. The score were then analyzed by means of analysis of variance.
Afterwards their interaction was examined according to the age group and sex group.
This survey also tried to test statisticaly the frequency of the positive responses to the questionnaire by means of the test.
The survey also tried to perform principal component factor analysis based on the score
of forty item questionnaires on anal trait scale from the nine hundred people, and varimax rotated factors with Kaiser Normalization, and to analyze its results.
In addition, through secondary factor repeated analysis the result of the first factor .analysis was simplified with the intention of verifying the result.
The result by means of the above subject and method are summarized as follows;
1. The anal trait of the female appears to be more pronounced than that of the male.
2. In the positive responses of the questionnaire item, the anal trait of the female app¡þears to be considerably more pronounced than that of the male.
3. The result of principal component factor analysis based on the score of forty item questionnaires on the anal trait scale, i. e. anal trait of the Korean people showed the following factors as being dominant.
Perfectionistic factor, Indecisiveness factor, Emotional constrictive factor, Factor of rejection of others, Orderliness and cleanliness factor, Checking and rechecking factor, practicalness factor, Parsimony factor, Rigidity factor, Conservative factor, Miserliness
factor, Sensitivity factor, Obstinacy factor and accuracy factor.
4. The results of the secondary factor repeated analysis conducted in order to simplify the above result are as follows:
Indecisiveness, checking and rechecking, and sensitivity factor. Miserliness and pract¡þicalness factor, actor of perfectionism, accuracy and rejection of others, Rigidity factor, Emotional constrictiveness, orderliness and cleanliness factor and the Parsimony and obstinacy factor.
